Mines just developed a leak at the rear, but not from the heater hoses (Checked all 4 connections and they are perfect (look new)), it appear to be coming from the left-hand side near to the top of the block.

I drops about half a cup full then stops until the engine is run again.

Having checked some old posts, is it likely to be coming from the tube marked with the red arrow (thanks in advance to Andyduff for the engine picture)? If so whats the best way to replace this hose and can i use either the 8mm or 6mm silicon tube as supplied by Smithy, or as the size is different at each end will I have to order a replacement from Nissan?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Looks like I was worrying about nothing (hopefully), there is the drain from the targa in the wing, but also another drain in the bulkhead that can been seen from underneath, it would appear that water was coming from both of these and yesterday was my first drive in the rain.

that pic is of a pcv hose so if it was leak from that it would be oil!

the common hose to leak for futire referance is the short hose that feeds the pass turbo about 5" hose running at 45 degrees above the bellhousing,or one of the small hoses that run under the plenum, where a hose bypass is the easier option.

red hoses in pic show under plenum bypass, and the red dotted hoses i have marked are off water pipes where leaks occur

Cheers! A job for the summer
