ffs wheres that can 'o' worms pic!

do a search bud.

theres loads of decent oils so as long as you stick to a decent high performance fully synthetic oil you will be fine ;)

yet you've got enough time to post 3 threads about it!!!

top right - search for oil recommendations.

oilman recommends 10-60w

Call Nissan see what they use, I think they use 5W something, thinner and better for cold weather. Now the weather is warmer I have put in 10W-40 synthetic Castol GTX Magnatec.

In short - for the approaching warmer climates any Top Branded Fully synthetic 10w-40, 10w-50 or 10w-60 oil.

He does ?!?!?!?

He does ?!?!?!?

lol - sorry picked up on one point and forgot about the rest!!!

he does recommend 10-60w for hard driving, but there are a multitude of recommendations for other uses.

Just for the record-Magnatec is semi synthetic ;)

seeing how agricultural the chevy is tho'-I'm using chip fat!! :D

The sythetic / semi synthetic thing is a bit of a myth to an extent.

But, yes a big brand oil sold as synthetic sould be fine.

Sainsburys vegtable oil?? Or Magnatec which is what I use.

Veg oil in the diesel tank ;) no more than 50/50 mix for summer.......... and magnatec in the sump :p

some may cringe at the thought, but i use halfords own brands, just get the right grade, have used in my old vr6 golf, and me zed and both engines seemed to run quiter and smoother

Castrol RS 10W60

I read somewhere that the RS was downgraded a couple of years ago. BMW now only recommends Castrol TWS 10W60 for their M cars. In essence the TWS is the old (and better) RS.
