I was driving down this nice and quite country road today and happened to have a porcheboxer S up my a55 so he over took me. he was about 50 with some hot young blonde in the passenger side so i thought I would have a go.

I was up behind him all the way he couldnt shake me off. imagine what his girlfriend thought when he was being whooped by a car 15 years olderthan his.

so either the porsche aint as good as what people make them out to be or he must of just got his driving licence of the back of a cereal box.

 

Personally I think the Z out powered him LMAO

zed has more character at a stand still let alone when it blows other cars away :hyper:

Boxter power varies from just over 200 to well over 300 and they do handle well.

 

Very bland, obvious choice of car IMHO - for someone with a wad of cash who read one issue of Top Gear and think they know all about cars.

never really rated the boxter, would have thought it would out handle a zed though (with the right driver of course)

Always thought they underperformed and slightly slower to 60 but still bad considering it is normally aspirated!

A mate of mine got one for his wife cos she wanted one, then he got himself a BMW 330 coupe thing and he reckons it was quicker than the Porche.

 

Now I blew a BMW 330 coupe away the other day, and I mean made him look like a mondeo.

 

So from what I have been told, they ain't all that.

I've driven a Boxster S and they are very nice and pretty quick, but it's not a big surprise that a Zed can poo all over one.

 

Standard 0-60s etc are similar but as soon as you mod a Zed it should make a Boxster get smaller and smaller in your rear view mirror.

hmm, not true. my ex-girlfriends family have a boxster and are awaiting a brand new cayman s. they are both sweet cars if you ask me, not just about pure power. strap a twin turbo on it and it'd be quicker than a zed i reckon hehe :)

yeah but how much it would cost to get a twin turbo conversion on a boxster you could pay for one of the 700hp engines from the state pre-built for the Z. personally I would go for the Z every man and his dog seems to have a porsche now. nearly as common as scoobys

A victory is when you overtake and then disappear into the horizon leaving the other guy eating dust and most likely pure petrol from the zed exhausts!
