I went to have a look at another TT Zed yesterday .. anyway.. looked ta the car .. not bad condition for a project car .. TT badges everywhere .. looked at the clock and no boost gauge .. so opened the bonnet to see an N/A engine with an original twin turbo sticker on the plenum ,, the guy wouldnt have it that it was an N/A.. kept telling me it was a twin turbo lol.. now either he thought i was totaly daft or he was LOL

Slam his head under the bonnet until he looks at it properly / stops being a lying f*ckwit.

surely a few have fallen victim to buying a non turbo,the general public think it only comes as a twin turbo and if you add to that somebody who has no clue about cars it must happen(waits for someone to join up saying "somebody stole my turbo's) lol

;) about time ... but i will mis his " whats wrong with my car posts" some of the replies have been funny .. but i do sympathise with bird .. id kill the fooker if i was sold a dud motor

Me too bud ... I feel for the poor bugger TBH ...

I was at a mates yard today and a XR3 owner (usuall comments of "my Xr3 would see that off it's bloody quick you know") was looking under my bonnet while telling me how much he knew about cars, anyway he then asked me so it's a twin turbo then! So I said can you see any turbos he pointed at my throttle body's and said yep there right there, WOW and there was me thinking I had a NA car I'll have to tell my insurance now, mind you it's slower than the TT zed i drove B4 and it has no boost guage. Hmmm thats prob why he drives a XR3 I hope he don't follow me he will only end up in a hedge or like a nova driver in the middle of a roundabout affter thinking I was racing him in my old Prelude.
