Hi all,

Ok, i've got my prop off and have replaced the center bearing. When I move the front UJ (nearest gearbox) it seems to have a notchy feel in its straight ahead position when you move it slightly off axis. Is it buggered or an acceptable level of wear.

If it is gone can anyone recommend a prop specialist in the essex area to put a new UJ in.

When you twist the uj around it should be smooth feeling, sounds like its shot.

The problem i found is they are fixed ie: un-changable.

I have heard prop specialist can sort them out, give mike (mjp) a ring.

He may have good deals to help you out, or he will know a good specialist.

Tis buggered bud!-specialist only I'm afraid, or Mike does one at reasonable money.
