I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

yea... I hate orange... clear is the way forward!!

i also painted the housings of the reverse lights white to better match the new inserts...

Think i'm gonna have to do mine!!!....looks superb!...heard its not an easy job though?

it is not easy at all... damn hard!! i have several burns on my hands, got covered in black gooo and i melted my first attempt... and chipped on the the lenses when trying to separate them.. also it took a total of 6 hours to do over 2 days...

but then again i am a bit of a novice at these things...

check out the pic of my first melted effort (oven too hot and for too long)

i have a spare set of rear lights now, is there a guide to doing these?

I might have a go :D

yea there are a few guides... some are better than others...

do a forum search...

my advice is:

1. dont over cook them!!! 160degC for 3 mins at a time... then keep trying to prise off the lense... you will have to repeat this many times

2. its better to use your fingers to pull the lights apart as using a knife or screwdriver will crack the lenses... you will need to use a screwdriver for the first bit... but be careful

3. definatly spray paint white the inside of the light houses of the centre panel... it makes them match the clear indicators...

these tips dont seem to be in the other guides...

Good luck ... pm me if you need any help and you can always give me a ring...

Instead of the oven i used a paint stripper gun so you can control how much heat you want in different areas of the unit.
