Hi I'm new,
Right, yesterday I picked up my zed from storage which its been for the last 3 months and drove home, travelled 110 miles then got home without a problem, brakes felt good and sharp.
Then after tea I went out to get some fuel from the local shell garage, on the way there the brakes felt rather spoungey, on the way back home the brakes deteriorated to full failure, the pedal travels right to the floor with no stopping power at all!
At this I returned to the garage and checked the brake fluid which was below the low mark, so I topped up to max, the brakes pumped up ok so I left, when I went to brake again the brakes completely failed again, they pump up ok, but then fail strait away, this morning I went out for a look around checking the flexi hoses which look fine and dry and in good as new condition, the fluid level is still at max, so I'm baffled now, could this be an air lock and just a case that the brakes need a good bleeding?
Any ideas anyone?
