Actually, the online manual is here and the Dutch site, I just have links to them.

Hi Both Andys

Hi thanks for te links but after spending what seems like all morning searching I still dont have the track width of my Z !!!

Maybe its not published because of the Hicas system ... the tracking information is there on the Front suspensuon & Rear suspension articles, it refers to some pretty complex tools and specs but does not give the track width.

In explanation I wish to set up my car after exhaustive suspension rebuild including solid tension rods / adjustable top links / re bushing etc and I have always used a manual system of measurement which includes knowing the stock track width.

It is a 'rough' system but I have found that in the past I came very close to spot on with it after checking with a laser alignment (on my RX7)

Still I supose Ill get round it somehow..cheers guys.

i have a question regarding car tracking.

both the rear and front wheels are out of align. how do they set the rears dead on straight, before they track the front to the rear. i dont want the car to crab. how do i explain to the garage how they should go about it?

Ah Yes Fraser thats why Im asking.

What I do is run a plumb line down the side of the car but i need to know the track width so i can compensate if the front track is 10mm narrower for example I put a 5mm spacer on the tyre run a plumb to the rear and then I can check toe or out of the rear.
