any idea on how hot to cook my rear lights and for how long??... im just a bout to pop them in to do my light conversion...

a low heat, with it not actually inside oven (jam it between open oven door)

 

Then keep taking it out, and try seperating

would recon on trying it at 70 degrees to start mate if that dont work try uping the temp by 10 and have another go lamp units should handle about 100/110 deg cel. but how much more than that i dont know start low and work your way up.

may advice is save up the cash and buy the real thing...... this is not fun!!

no problems here. been a year. Just got to make sure its sealed back again properly.

 

But, it is a real pain to do. Half way through and you really regret starting it.

Is it easy to remove the rear lights from the back of the Zed?

yep really easy. make sure you undo all the bolts and gently heat with a hairdryer whilst applying gentle pressure. move around the light applying the pressure. and then push out from inside the boot..

im gonna give it a try tomorrow when i have recovered from the hangover im gonna have... just got back from the pub

excellent!!! done it... with the stripes too

 

also painted the back of the center panel lights white so they match the new inserts...

 

This was alot of work... but im gonna say it was definatly worth it
