Just been cleaning the gaff up a bit  (gotta keep the dump looking sharp for when the mrs comes back from france :D ) and noticed my Isle of Wight sand filled novelty ash tray has some sorta shrub growing in it! Don't quite know how to explain this as its air tight and not a drop of water in it other than the few drops they put in them when they make them to help the sand settle.

Anyone else own one of these sand filled ornaments with plantlife growing inside?

Ok, have finally got a pic of this.

It's getting bigger every day. Maybe it's hoping to break out of it one day and become a Triffid!

It might do in the pic but in real life its definitely not algae. It look like more of a plant than that.
