Crashed front of Z last month in ice. Nothing to serious but ended up needing new bumber and passenger wing.

Unfortunately car wasnt idleing properly. Suspected a boost leak and sure enough my intercooler was cracked in several places

Replace intercooler with second hand unit. Put all back together but stil I have a leak. Not as bad as before I changed intercooler but still bad enough to have boost gauge at approx -7 at idle and engine idleing badly.

My mechanic cant see anything wrong with pipes from intercooler where damage was and is not sure how to trace the problem.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Wasnt there a unit some time back for sale to pressureise the system to see where leaks are eminating from or is there other methods to detecting leaks in system.

Damage to the AFM or the connector has been jarred loose in the bump?

Maybe its idling in get home mode - does it rev past 2000rpm? this would also point to the AFM

No she is actually driving and boosting normally. only sounding rough. Its only at idle that you can really tell she's leaking air
