Crouch and Rooney starting forwards. Drop Owen, been off form for years,

I Think we'll win it this year by the way.

Crouch...why? He is lucky he has a good agent who got him into Liverpool, but as far as being an international player - I don't think so! He should still be at Southampton fighting against relegation.

Rooney, for sure, who else, know idea!

Winning the World Cup? I really don't think they will, they are capable in my opinion but they have no motivation, turn up and get paid and lose or turn up and get paid if you win.

Jimmy Hill has got a lot to answer for demanding professional salaries for second rate actors!

i don't think crouch is the man to start, a superb alternative

still not sure England have the all round class to be up there with Brazil etc

as you say m8 rooney on form is there to that job;)

the sooner swen gets past his beckham obsession

and realises if we are going to win anything there are far better players in the team who he should be basing the side round, i don't suggest he drops him YET, but last few games for england have been poor

owen over crouch any day... when he is fit he is one of the best in the world, just pity he isnt fit that often. We are running out of top class english strikers at the min, a bit worrying for the future.

Personally I really rate Defoe, plays the game in a way so many rated players from other realms do.

I`d rather Owen wasn`t picked for England as I`d prefer him to be fit for the Toon. Don`t watch international football...only domestic and then only if Newcastle are involved. (Ready for the abuse but..........I couldn`t care less about England)

As long as they don't put that (alleged) wife beater, David James, in goal!

lmfao we don't want that donkey back thats for sure,its not a striker we need its a balanced side , like a holding midfielder, it no use using lampard and gerard in mid position together, too much the same players, i would play only one of them, at a time and use either carrick or scottparker in midfield.

and stop the show pony beckham from cutting in to midfield and stop on the right hand side to do what he does best,(hes not zidane) put crosses in for THE STRIKERS TO GET SERVICE just my opinion though

I like Heskey, I think he was meant to take over from Shearer with the role of holding the ball for the strikers and midfield to catch up but it didn't work.

look at the 5-1 thrashing of germany, he played superb and laid off 2 of owens goals. (if I remember right)

I'm a keen watcher of Spanish footy and Becks has been playing awesome for Real. He had a terrible spell for England but last few friendlies he looked more like his old self.

 

Given the chance I really think Crouch will prove himself. Does ANYONE agree with me?? Doesn't look like it so far. My work mates all think I'm nuts to!

with the players we have we should be playing 4-1-3-2............robinson----g.neville,terry,ferdinand,a.cole-----s.parker or carrick--------gerrard,lampard,joe cole--------rooney,owen........beckhams past it.......crouch would be a good sub if things went wrong..........never happen though,not with that complete dick of a manager........
