Does anyone know of an ideal baby seat for the back of the zed, I know im going to have to fit a 3 point belt, but i can find these bits fronm one of chunks breakers, just want to know if anyone knows of any that are a good fit for the zeds rear seat.

I guess there is no baby seats that can be secured with a lapbelt alone?

Britax Elite. Tried loads, this is the only one that fits front and back. Doesn't recline in the back I think, because of the short seat belts.

We've got a Britax one in ours as well, got from halfords for £60. The cars seat belt holds the seat and little man in real well. Doesn't recline unfortunately.

So, who's gonna drive if your in the baby seat??

:nana2:

just buy a familey car like an evo or skyline and be done with it

They are ok untill your babies legs are nearing the end of the baby seat thats how I nearly broke our 2 year olds legs, but luckily he was screaming like a banshee when I was putting the seat back which then told me he could,nt fit in the back behind me so he went behind the missus with her seat right forward. lol

I have wondered whether the bottom section could be removed and a custom base made to accept a baby seat in the centre...

Baby seat in the back, for a new-born? Surley the little one should be in a rear-facing seat in the front?

I had the same problem with my Capri, no way would a rear facing seat fit in the back, and it wasn't all that good in the front Recaros either! :D

I'm sure that the discussion regarding child seats in the back has been covered before, but not about babies.

Here you go, the law regarding kids in the car >>> http://www.childcarseats.org.uk/law/index.htm

Just tell the hospital not to cut the chord, sorted. :hyper:

Fit a DVD player in the back with two pair of noise cancelling headphones along with the following instructions:-

"If either of you ever think you are out of room in the back just say the word to mum and the DVD playing Z goes.........."

Hey presto no complaints from 8 & 10 year olds even on 250mile trips :hyper:

In fact "Why can't we take the Z?" is the cry even over the old Beemer and the RX8
