Hi Guys

I'm just about to buy my first 300zx and lets face it the last thing I want to do is get caught speeding.

Apart from the obvious, don't speed, does anybody use a devise that has proved its worth?

Slow and Careful - honest :)

A lot of people including myself bought a Road Angel. It does its job pretty well but is way overpriced IMO.

I would suggest buying a pocket PC/PDA that you can install TOM TOM 5 onto. This allows navigation and speed cameras. Updates for these type of softwares are £17 per year or £2 for eveytime you want to update. Do a search on ebay for these type of things. I have a HP iPaq h2210 with Tom Tom on it. Only cost me £215 and a road angel is £349.99 new. You do the maths m8.

Plus as I am guessing you are a guy, more toys and button are better right?

I use a Tom Tom Go 300 with free speed camera info installed which is brilliant, but I have also used a Road Angel 2 which was very good also. It depends whether you want a satelite navigation device as well as a speed camera detector?? HTH

I think SatNav is rubbish, I know where I am going, I don't need an anoying voice telling me to 'stay right' becuase there is a junction off the motorway that she doesn't want me to take. :headvswal

I can supply any of the major Speed trap detectors

Contact me if Interested

Thanks Dave

Ok forget for a minute that you are a salesman and therefore want to sell me the most expensive......

Tell me what you think is the best. I don't want satnav, just speed camera detection. Fixed/mobile and anything else that can try.

Thanks for the help.

Which one do you have?

try http://www.roadpilot.co.uk I use the Micro with the laser detector. Micro fits really neatly at the far right hand corner of the dask and the laser screws to the front of the rear view mirror. Really neat installation.

The laser detector will soon be illegal so the latest roadpilot MicroGo comes without one. It's a great piece of kit - very well thought out. I did the website...

Good luck

Jack

The Road angel is very good but too noisey with all the false calls. IMO.

I use the Tom Tom aswell with the official camera database that is updateable and its spot on. But as for mobile radar then the Road Angel has to be the biz.
