:rant: As some know I travel the M1 and M6 up and down 6 days a week. The last two weeks on the M6 have turned into a bloody nightmare. I dont know how or who plans road works but FFS. this month it must have something to do with the end of the financial years? But! they have gone mad. They must have siad "right the M6 needs some work so we'll do it all at once and cause as much disruption as we can"? Between Jnc12 and 19 there must be 5 lots of road works and lane closures. early this morning at Jnc13-jnc12 (south bound) there was a 45 minute delay so I thought I would use the A50 over to the M1. Guess what? It was closed east bound. It took me 4 1/2 hours to get home. :rant: :cry:

Vini.. i was up in milton keynes last week and theres a ton of roadworks on the M1 .. M6 has always been a roadwork hotspot i have to drive to staffs quite a bit as my daughter lives there .. flippin nitemare

MK aint to bad as long as you havnt gotta do it over the weekend .. its only down to 2 lanes at one point ... but its the london end , you should be ok if youre in bedford mate cut across the a421 i think its called

Paul your best bet is up the A1 to sandy and do a left on the A603 across past bedford onto the A421 (you was right ZX) to Jnc 13 mate . My mo-in-law lives in dover and thats the way we go when we visit.

m4 and m5 last 2days i have been in 2 3hour traffic jams,fookin winds me up when they decide to close a lane on a busy friday afternoon,and yet no fooker working :mad:
