HI IS THERE ANYBODY HERE THAT CAN HELP ME.IVE GOT A UK 300 TWIN TURBO HAD A FULL ENGINE REBUILD 2 HEADS SKIMMED TOP HALF REDONE AND BOTTOM HAS HAD NEW RINGS AND SEALS DONE, THIS CAR IS CURRENTLY IN A GARAGE IN GLASGOW BUT THEYR HAVING PROBLEMS ,THE CAR RUNS FOR APPROX 5 MINS THEN CUTS OUT.WOULD ANYBOBY BE INTERESTED IN SORTING THIS CAR OUT,THINK ITS AN ELECTRICAL FAULT.I WOULD PUT IT ON A TRANSPORTER AND SEND IT TO SOMEBODY THAT CAN PUT IT RIGHT , IM DESPERATE AS CARS NOW BEEN OFF ROAD 8 MONTHS PLEASE HELP !!! :headvswal

Have they checked the PTU and TPS +MAF Bud,might be worth a try might save you a lot of cash Fella.

Seems weird that it runs then cuts out.What does it run like when its running?Rough?TBH mate it seems like they havent got a clue so i would advise getting it to a specialist.

Hi They Ave Replaced The Ptu. What Is The Tps +maf And Were Are They .thanks!

TPS is Throttle Position Sensor located right hand side of throttle body,needs to be adjusted to .45 to .48 voltage.Maf is Mass Air Flow Sensor located in that big Vee shaped black hose under front panel between head lights,its where your airbox or after market air filter is joined to.Check that its been plugged in and the fragile element has not been damaged.

sounds more like a faulty CAS!! mine did this, ran for 5 mins no probs at all then just died, replaced the cas and it was fine, as others said seel if you can borrow one from a local owner and try different parts. i have a tps if you want that?

sounds like the cas,but could also be the fuel pump ECU which is located behind the passenger seat,under the rear qtr

 

will the car go above 3k rpm?

i had a very similar problem a last year turned out to be the MAF flooding the engine, but the engine sounded shite before it eventualy stalled.

have you done an ECU check?.
