OK if it's not possible to download updates anywhere, who has the latest version maps?

In tomtom preferences there's a version icon you can click on ;)

v605 is the latest Great_Britain map.

v632 is the latest Great_Britain_Plus map.

These maps have the same UK content but the Plus also has "Major Roads of Europe".

TomTom do not offer free upgrades, they can be purchased from TomTom Website for $59.95 (£41)

I always though registered users would be able to download map updates?

Does that mean you have to pay every year for a new version?

Yes, unfortunately that is the case. You can get updated soft/firmware for free, but the maps cost ££.

Oh well, I use it a lot so might buy the UK ones and keep the not so important out of date european maps I've already got :)
