I bought some Veilside style sideskirts (thanks Maxsunny) & decided to have a go at painitng & fitting them myself!

 

I have never fitted skirts before, so my questions really are how do I attach them!? Im assuming I drill either end & fix in the front & rear wells with self tapers!? Do I also need to bond them on too? Im pretty sure that the bodyshop used unibond on my old car but Im not sure if thats just the sealant for piping across the top of the skirts?

To be honest I would leave it to the pro's but Im torn in many ways! You see firstly they wanna charge like 400 odd quid just to spray & fit them..... 700odd to smooth them & respray or 1200 quid to smooth the tailgate fit & smooth skirts & respray! Seems a little high to me considering the same bodyshop fitted, a full bodykit including smoothed rear skirt... repairs to make the bodywork perfect & a complete colour change for just over 2grand!!

 

Anyone recommend any good bodyshops near Swindon & how much should I be paying?

What I meant was that Im considering a colour change later in the year so I dont wanna spend loads on bodywork when it's all gotta be redone anyway :)
