changed to uk clocks

hi guys , i am swapping out my J spec clocks to Uk spec .....is it a direct replacement as on the threads i have searched it says it is, but im not sure if the UK clocks will de limit the car ?? do i have to do any resister changes while im in there ???

    you should be fine as you're "re mapped ECU" will have had the limit removed.

    cheers Rich but the other day when i was at the ferrybridge meet the car was limited to 115 ??

    dont think my ECU was de limited when it was socketed and a new chip put in .....think i need to get an new chip ....

    If you have an aftermarket chip it will have the limiter removed.

    are you swapping over the whole pod or just the uk speedo.

    Reason being series 1 and series 2 have different connectors but you can swap the individual dials over inside the pod :)
