Trying to expand my DVD collection and just wondering what people's favourite road films are?

I still enjoy watching the Mad Max films as well as the Smokey and the Bandit ones.

Duel is quite good also. Watched Road Kill the other day and I've not made my mind up about that one.

Transporter......mmmmmm, find it a bit cheesey really for some reason.

Anyone remember a really really awful film from the 70s called Death Race 2000? Had Sylvester Stallone in it. ****ing dreadful film. See some tits and ass in it though, but that's its only redeeming quality.

Deathrace 2000 is a great film in my opinion! Dreadful but great. It's hilarious just to see what they thought the year 2000 would actually be like. They were a little way out to be honest... I borrowed it of a mate once, I think I'll try and get it on-line - can't be more than a quid or two surely!?

And it does contain some nice nakedness. And cars. And, as the title suggests, death.

Absurd, yes - but don't knock it, as I remember it gets you a lot of points!

my gumball and bullrun dvds..

Anyone seen U-Turn? Few people I know have and didn't think much of it, but I thought it was pretty good. Bit twisted and inbred in style, but not a bad film none the less.
