i crashed my 300zx :mad: in the morning at 9 pictures are below my car is a write off i suppose looking at these pictures.

 

 

my accelerator was stuck and brakes woudn't work for some reason. looks like im out of the zx membership.

 

 

i feel like shit i dont know if im gonna be paid anyt hing the guy cud claim for whiplash as hes in hospital he was about 40-50 i hit 2 lampost then went over a kerb at hit a tree which nearly killed me :(

 

 

i feel like shit i havent got anything i worked soo hard for this car and now i cant even afford a micra.

 

the accelerator got stuck and i tried the overtake the car on front of me but the guy infront of him was turning right so i hit the side of him. i was in 2nd gear

Gutted for you mate. You're ok, that's the main thing. Don't worry about what the other chap will or won't do. That's what you have insurance for, leave it to them.

you can always buy another zed whenever you can ..look back on this and thank your lucky stars you walked away ...keep on the forum though buddy

Damn unlucky mate, just hope you get your car replaced. Like someone said earlier, at least you're still in one piece! Same happened to me when I was 21, crashed a 280ZX. I was gutted but hell I've had loads of nice cars since.

Could have been a lot worse, you could have crashed a red or black Z! At least no one is hurt.

I know how you feel mate, I wrote mine off last weekend, when a bloody new forest pony ran out in front oe me!...missed the bloody horse but hit a tree when I swerved to avoid it. Luckily nobody else was involved and a kind lady behind me stopped and let me sit in her car cuz I was in shock. It seems that you really don't have to be travelling quickly to totally mangle the exterior of a Z as I was only doing 35 and it's now the size of a 206. Still the interior looks like nothing happened!

As everyone else has said bud - glad everyone is ok. You are insured? If so, then don't give the other guy's whiplash or whatever another thought. That may sound selfish but concentrate on your own stuff dude. It was an accident and you certainly didn't mean to crash into the other bloke and give him whiplash! Take it easy.

sad news mate. make sure if you get any ache's etc in the next couple of days you get to the hospital and get checked over. as some times shock and adrenalin can hide the pain. for the first few hours.

Yes, i think it happened to AdamR too.

Seeing as the police have recovered vehicles are they going to investigate the collision and examine the vehicles? At least that way if the accelerator stuck they can apportion some blame to that.

a big smash is a frightening experience, hope your alright.

you need to get back driving asap cos its a huge confidence drain.the sooner your behind a wheel again the better.

Really sorry to hear this mate, hope you and the other bloke are ok. Unfortunately I wouldn't bank on it being his fault as you shouldn't have been overtaking in an area with junctions. I did the same thing in a small village a few years back. A transit slowed down without turning off or indicating and eventually I overtook him. As I was coming parallel I saw him put his indicator on and I couldn't brake in time to stop from having a collision. Fortunately my insurance was fully comp and I got the car repaired. Is your insurance fully comp? I guess at your age it would be very expensive. Worth at least pushing the advice from this thread about the throttle sticking to the police, hope you're brakes, tyres etc are good though as they'll pick that up.
