i would do it but sensibly it needs to be someone close to him, so we can get it to him asap only thing i could think of was a psp or a shit hot mp3 player,

so the person who does it would also need to have paypal

my opinion would be that we set a start and end time so it's not dragging on for ages ie 7 days, and then he gets whatever while he still needs it,

once it's decided then everyone should post what they are sending so everyone knows the running total, even if it's only a couple of quid, we all know he WILL appreciate it, hope all the above makes sense and everyone thinks it ok??

 

(or maybe if enough are prepared we send a fixed sum each, so it doesnt turn into a competition??)

i only suggested someone close to him so the minute the 7 days is up, they scoot down to wherever and buy something and he has it same day

just means if it was the club it gets drawn out, by the time the cash is sorted transferred to whoever etc etc
