i'd go for a sony ericsson phone, theres some good ones out at the mo, and some even better ones on the way, check out there website for the info.

I love my Sony-Ericsson W900i - depends what you want though. I couldn't really justify getting a digital camera and an Mp3 player. This phone has a 2 megapixel camera and the Walkman software installed, so it's been great for me. It's also got 470Mb of internal memory so you can actually fit quite a bit on it.

Erm, the talky-phone bit of it is good too.

If you just want a phone that makes and receives calls, the new Bang & Olufsen Serene is amazing, a snip at £800...

Samsung D600 is good. I have the 500 but the missus has the new one and I like it....

I've got the Motorola V3 (original) and to be honest, you can make calls and receive them, but other than that it's a pile crap!!!!! The camera is sh1te, I've upgraded it to video, and that's sh1te as well, and the menus take to long to move from one to another............. On the whole very p155 pour!!
