Im going to change the front bumper very soon its just a case of to what and whilst there im thinking of changing intercooles but dont know best way to go my car is a man uk tt and im going to upgrade tubs sometime this year the car has boost timmer ad been decated with straght throgh exhaust,So question is do i go bling and big or not and anyone ideas please. :cool:

There are numerous opinions on this. What I would suggest is fitting intercoolers that suit your front bumper. If you like the look of FMIC go for these and make sure you get a front to suit.

 

I just bought Trust SMICs from chunk but that is because I will leave bodywork standard.

If you are up grading your Tubs :bow: then i would go down the FMIC route :D give Chris at greddy a pm for more info as he has one fitted :cool:

dont ask to choose between FMIC or SMIC you'll have MAC1 and chris at it again :x: (auguing that is )

Pace smic fmic, im confused i now the little smic were desiged to do the job but if im changing the car in power and looks then surely its large fmic ,but ta ask why put something in a corner when surely its better to be in you face getting cool.im confused now?

Yes you will need to ditch the stock smic, but there are LOADS of threads on aftermarket SMIC vs FMIC, Suggest you search the forum bud ;)

Using the stock front in the corner suits better as there are direct air feeds as standard but if you change your front you should be looking at using the air feeds that are part of the bumper. So if you get one with a huge hole in the middle of it, then FMIC is the way for you as it sounds as you will be going for better looks too.
