Alarm with hks turbo timer

I've got something called a DEFA alarm. The alarm will turn itself on after 2-3 min. But I can't lock the doors with the alarm switch when the timer is running. Is there any way to get around this so it might be possible to lock the doors or both - turn on the alarm and lock the doors?

mine does the same, u can lock the doors on mine with the key when the turbo timer is running, then blip the alarm on when the engine stops (if in range)

TBH I just sit in the car until just before the timer stops, then blip to lock/arm as I'm walking away.

doubt your alarm will arm because the ignition is on when the timer is running.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to answer this a bit better.....

im the same but alarm it or loose it so i alarm it lol

most alarms you can fit a relay to be able to lock the car and when the turbo timer switches off doesn't unlock the car
