Actually got to drive a Jap TT today and was amazed how different the ride felt handeling wise to my UK TT.... Firstly the Jap TT was lower to the ground than mine and also the damping felt much softer.... Steering also felt really weird too, difficult to explain but it didn't feel as quick or responsive as mine on turning it in... Both my car and this one are running on 18" wheels and same width tyres...

The condition of shocks, springs, bushes and model of tyres would explain the differences. I've driven over a dozen different zed's and each one feels different, but not noticed a particular UK vs Jap difference.

Well as you know mines on a J plate and this Jap one was on a K plate... Perhaps it's had more abuse than mine in it's life time....

there is a page of comparisons between uk/jap/usa/and aussie cars.
