fitted my apexi blow of valves today, its dam tight as standard ill tell you took some doing :wack:

and the back nut of the oem recirc valve is just a bitch!

anyway, apexi's fitted really easy and simple to understand.

i left the holes on biggest setting, will the smallest one make it loudest though?

can only hear them when i accelerate fairly hard/ rev high, they dont work at low revs when turbos not working hard? they loud when they dump tho just i thought they went off everytime you let off??

love the winning noise they make too yay!!! so happy now.

BOV's dont seem to make alot of noise unless you are working the engine. and i mean not just reving it at a standstill :) Ive been told the smallest hole will make them louder

yep im sure the smallest hole is the loudest m8

doh! good job i can get to them from underneath sort of, cos thet air box is one hell of a bitch, got about 20 cuts on my hands after trying to get it back, need filter now tho :(

need to get twin one or somthing dunno how it would work??

You adjust them, so they release earlier...but not too early so that they not closing fully at idle or it will cause stalling problems.

just get an apexi induction cone,it makes life alot easier getting to that area, and will also compliment the apexi bovs, and free up the engine breathing a bit

Just a question on my old tt 300 i took the pipe off the recirc and blocked the pipe to the air intake that they goto it sounded mint but wouldent run right at lo revs so dose that mean the valves where faulty or was the airflow metre anything to do with this

yea but their is two intakes so i dont know how to connect a single cone?

I thought it was the biggest hole for the louder noise,

im sure mr getgreddy will be along shortly.

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

but air moving through a smaller hole will make a greater noise i thought as it moves faster.

that ikkle radiator thing is the intercooler :O??? i though it could be but its tidy, or a/c?

Engine oil cooler, that is!-yours should have the smaller one anyway as this is the original engine cooler.

The standard airbox only has one outlet too....onto the Maf, which is where an Apexi filter bolts on instead.
