Cheap way-get hold of a strip light cover-free

coloured bulbs.

Cost me a total of 62 pounds for conversion (60 for replacement standard units,2 qiud for bulbs)and a bout 3 hours work

You need a Heat gun, flat end screw driver and the patience of a saint!

Also you'll need a can of WD-40 to clean all the black gunk off everything

i had to get replacement units anyway as mine where cracked.

And i agree you need a lot of patience

Good idea to get some latex gloves to stop the black gunk getting over you.
