Warning - Broken Fuel Pump

If anyone;s in Farnborough today, avoid the Total garage on the way into town from the Queen's Head Hotl roundabout.

Went in today to fill up. Put fifteen quid in (from empty) and petrol starts pouring everywhere (floor, side of car, me) - seems the fuel pump broke and didn't detect the back pressure. Went into the garage, they couldn't tell how much had been spilt so they couldn't refund.

Mad?? I was bloody fuming smile.gif.

Just tell them that you're going to burn all you paid for and drop a match on the ground as you leave. I'm sure they could find it in their heart to refund something then ! biggrin.gif

get on to the weights and measures licensing unit and explain exactly to them what has happened they have to refund your money you may also want to inform the local authority fire officer about what had gone on he will be round there like a shot as they can lose there fire certificate......garages always try it on but they have a legal obligation to refund
