I seem to have a strange bleep from somewhere in the centre console (I think). It only starts after a few minutes driving and the gap between bleeps stops or goes slower when the car slows down.

 

Does anyone know what this could be....

 

Maybe it's part of the speed warning beep (65mph+ is it) if you have a Jap car.

 

If its a UK car the only bit that beeps is the AC unit and that's when you press buttons I thought!

 

Not part of any alarm or something?

 

It happens at speeds above 10-15 MPH. The noise is possibly coming from the Greddy PRofec, which has just been repositioned to the centre console, although the unit is working fine. The alarm is also working fine.

 

Very strange.. I will try and get someone to check the exact location of the noise while I am driving, as trying to check and drive is not easy.

Is it the same type of bleep as when you turn the lights on and open the door?

 

If so, you can remove that fairly easily but it still doesn't explain why it happens...

 

I have located the strange beep to the roof by the light.

 

Any ideas??

 

There is a small fan in there, sucking the air

through a temp. sensor.

I bet that's it.
