March 19, 200620 yr Hi guys. My drivers side seat has the usual wear on the bolster. Has anyone ever tried re-covering a drivers side seat with a passenger side cover. Are both seats the same, and is it possible to remove and re-fit them without damage. Can't afford full retrim due to letter from Tax man.
March 19, 200620 yr the cutouts our different. Drivers side only has a lever on one side for tilt, and has an extra 2 levers for side bolsters adjustment and back lumbar support.
March 19, 200620 yr bugger! Thanks for that. I noticed in the for sale section you have a set of covers. Is the drivers side any good? and how easy are they to change.
March 19, 200620 yr You can put the passenger side cover on the drivers side. After all the control bits have been taken off, you end up with short bosses sticking up. Completely fit the cover, before gently cutting the necessary holes / slots and refit the controls. If you bought a leather replacement kit, this what you would have to do.

Colin, if you want the drivers or passenger side tweed cover, their yours if you cover P&P costs. Both have no wear marks at all. Drop me a PM if you want.
March 19, 200620 yr I would be interested in the tweed covers if they have not already gone and are grey?
