HI wondered if any1 can help. we recently fitted a set of turbo technics bovs to my car and for some reason they arnt working, i can hear my wastegates but no whooosh not even a little 1. infact you can put your hand around the valve and you cant feel any thing being dumped either. they are fitted correctly and ive unfitted and refitted them twice know. using different vaccume pipes etc. the pistons inside the valves are moving and they where brand new. when bought.

any ideas anyone?????????

hmm thx my car isnt an auto the valves fit in where the re circs used to be the vac pipe is short and the other pipe is blanked off. im getting a noise that sounds like an air leak b4 i reach full boost and throttle off grrrr then no whoosh of anykind but my car isnt stalling.

wasnt meant just for an auto m8

theres some info re different dump valves and setting them up etc

yeh i did read it its just ive tried it all except cutting the springs but mine are leaking air at high boost and doing f**k all at low rpm and boost so im not gona cut anything im gona send em back and get summit else i think. thanks tho :bow:

harden up the setting on the valve sash as when you boost the valve is opening hence no woosh when you let off the gas

Mines an auto with twin Baileys where the recircs used to be, frankly they f#cking scream..........auto or not. Somethings up mate.

only if you rev it hard 4-5 times to get full effect mine was loosing boost when i fitted my valves at first so i hardened them down 1 turn and they work ok now

ill try it but its all a bit dissapointing really.

GREG drop leighs sqv's off i wana fit them instead i threw away my recircs lol so i need a replacement.
