Wow, what a weekend!!

 

Before you all ask, I didn't gamble and therefore am not rich!! There was a big Nascar event on there this weekend so all the casinos were absolutely RAMMED on Saturday and Sunday - so no table betting for me - and the slots are pretty much a waste of time. Besides which, I'm not a big gambler anyway :tongue:

 

Anyway, in the two days we were there (not long enough considering the 11 hour flight there!!) we walked fookin' miles, saw a world class show called Le Reve following a 5 star Cantonese meal (yum!).

Then, on the Sunday, we took a stretch limo ride to the airport, where a helicopter took us around Vegas, out past Hoover Dam and Lake Mead to the Grand Canyon where we landed on a plateau and had a champagne picnic!! What an amazing site that was, really impressive.

 

Anyway, I did see 2 Z's :D - both shorties (yay!), both NA (yay!) but both targa top (boo) and both red (bigger boo ;)). Completely stock in every way, but one was real tidy and the other was a total sh1tter! I have also discovered that the new Mustang is about as rare as a Ford Focus (i.e. common as muck), but I do quite like the new Dodge Charger SRT (pic ), not bad for a big yank saloon.

 

I think I can safely say that that was the best birthday present I have ever had, and probably ever will have. Thanks for all your messages in my other thread (going away thread) - and yes, I am the luckiest guy in the world :tongue: :nana2: :dance: :D

 

And to top it all - we're off to Orlando in a five weeks for our 'scheduled' holiday!! :tongue:
