Just done an Ecu test and it comes up with Code 34 (Det sensor).

I had a Profec fitted some time ago and never really noticed any issues. The car seems to boost ok but will need to check. What are my options? I don't really want to have to have the engine out...

thats what we've been trying to tell you :headvswal LOL!!

its the boost controller that removes safety boost, not the ecu/chip!

PMSL...I thought it was because the ecu did not have a map for safety?? I was confused, now I am really confused...

right:

the boost controller prevents the ecu from putting the car into safety boost.

the chip doesnt have different ignition maps so that prevents the timing being retarted.

got it!? ;)

I have now put my JWT back in after PASSING MOT and it is now back to code 55....fookin hell
