Just thought I would post some pic's during the bodywork and widebody kit fitting. The pictures were took on Wednesday, the panels were just tacked up getting the shape right. Called in today and the panels are now fitted and they are working on blending the skirt/air duct into the rear arch.

Are you having a spoiler aswell???

Looking forward to seeing the finished article!

Bazz I will have the wheel spacers for sale, you will need these to bring the alloys

out to meet the arches, check the for sale section.

Might save you some money if you dont already have some.

Graham,

Its a mess as the interior is here in my kitchen! lol, its just some of the parts and panels inside.

Rich,

No, decided to keep it as the tailgate skin, as Im going for the smooth look, no door handles, no aerial, side repeaters, lowered in the wing and oval and no rear wash wipe.

Allan,

Might well be interested in the spacers, will let you know in the next day or two :)

Gaz,

Heres a few more pics of the tailgate skin.

Hi Ronnie,

Its just a small local bodyshop to me, they fitted my side skirts last yr and did a great job, so decided to get them to fit the kit. I dont think they done a wide arch kit on a Z before, but plenty of bodykits.

I can pm you there contact details if interested, or give it a couple of weeks to see what its like when finished, then make up your mind lol.

Making good progress. I have similar plans for mine before summer.

Its scary seeing the car in such a state, when it looked spot on before it went into the bodyshop lol.

Good luck with your plans, just be wary, everything seems to take longer than you plan, oh and not forgetting, its gonna cost you much more than you planned for!

Barry

Mind if i ask how much its costing you to put wide arches on? for the whole thing, parts, fitting and painting. I want to do it to mine but would like a price first.

Very good question! wish I knew.

Barry.

Bu the time everything is done on a widearch coversion 5.5K to 6K

is about the price. It is not only the bodykit you need to do, there

is a lot of other things to sort out as well.

you realy need coilovers to lower the car to the correct ride hight,

camber adjusters to allow camber correction due to the lowering

of 50mm on the rear. While you have the frount off you might as

well do the headlights, Etc Etc

So in all the costs go beyond what you think.

mine sofar is about 7k

you wait to you sort out the fuel cap and neck, pain in the arse

I can see the fuel cap and neck being a pain, im sure the guys at the bodyshop will cope lol.

Smooth is the look, removed door handles, aerial, spoiler and rear wash wipe has gone. Yes, keeping it Nissan AG2 red.
