Boost gauge is now fitted and it seems that im only boosting to around 7psi.

The car is not in safety boost, well no error codes anyway.

Possibly a leak somewhere.

Getting a compression test done tonight so hopefully it'll not be an expensive thing :(

Find out if anybody nearby has one of the Boost leak detectors that were sold in group buy a little while back. Handy tool for finding leaks.

Is it a little gremlin that runs through hoses till he finds a hole? Jumps out and says here it is master.

If it, I have been looking for one of those for ages.

Another more crude way tht sometimes indicates a leaks is if you reach 7 psi and instead of it staying constant at 7 it jumps up and down, could be a wee indication.

Agree, Im sure that once the car is done it will be amazing as eveything ould have been replaced  . Just a shame to see a genuine owner have so many probs with one car.

Goodluck, at least your are in the same club as mine, check the sig. PS you say no codes, but have you checked your o2 sensors?

Have you got one of smithy's vacuum hose kits??

I put one on mine, and the dump valves dump nice and loud

now, so I'm thinkin they were well worth the cash.

Only 20 odd squid, and will replace the old stock ones, and also

adds a bit of colour under the hood lol ;)
