18's r good but 16's r cheap

i can't help but worry about my spend on tyres when i go up to 18's lol. just been to get another set of rear tyres for the cruise this weekend and at 75 sovs for two tyres i cant help but wonder that slamming my car to the floor instead of puttin 18's on may be better

Tooley Boy, The rate you go thru tyre i would avoid 18's like the plague. Specially if you drive like a nutter in the Wet as well.

I use Falkens as commuting tyres @ 155 each,

last set of bridgestones i got were about 350+ each.

Not too mention balancing problems and Pot hole damage!! what is out Road TAx paying for ?

Seriously m8 if you have financial doubt about gettin 18's i would stay away, they cost a lot of money to keep safe and in tip top condition.

Tooley, I think you need to phone up Bridgestone and ask for some solid rubber tyres, forget PSI levels!!!

btw - Bridgestone ES02s are £550 for 16s and about £900 for 18s last time I asked.
