Right - think Im gonna bite the bullet and PAY someone to fit a leather interior. Seats are already leather (cracked but not too bad).

Because I dont have an eye for colour and dont wanna waste my money could you please say on a black car what colour interior you'd go for.

Im thinking cream or ivory coloured.

Other thoughts are bright or dull red. Seen a bright red one and am not sure if its a bit garish.

I know its all down to personal preference but am just after ideas or pics of a black car with diff colour interiors.

Cheers

I personally like black with: blue, silver, ivory, black and dark purple, I would not use all these colours obviously but I woul pick 2 from that list that complimented other things in my Z such as dials, steering wheel and dash. HTH

Jay I know a couple of members have this: Black outers and Grey middles on the seats leave the dash top black and do the lowers grey mate it looks superb. (LIGHT GREY). IMO. My car is red and thats what I am getting done (eventually)

I would go for replacing all tweed with grey and like vini says have the seat centres done in the same grey.

I like my creal leather interior with black piping on my black Z never seen another like it, must have cost whoever got it done originally an absoloute packet, lucky for me, could do with a clean now though, I iwll try to post a picture but im not sure how to.

At the end of the day its each to their own. :)

I dont really like the cream steering wheel retrim but that needs retrimming anyway and it will be in black.

heres mine, red and black interior on a red car... may change the red panels in the future, but not sure to be honest...

this is what i am going to have:::

Agree 101%. Keep colours clean and to a minimum. Far more pleasing to the eye.

I must admit I do like piping but like you Si I think it can get too busy with so much going on Minimalist is best

I like Billynomates colours, subdued but striking (if that makes sense)

I would leave the console and door cards a dark colour, you don't want to feel your sitting in a shell suit, and just use the cetrer of the seats to add colour. I have seen a very pale yellow, its almost cream that I think would be better for a black car, maybe, if you do it we can all see if it works lol.

The tweed on mine has been replaced with a velvety stuff, looks quiet good.

If I can work out how to upload photos i'll post some.
