How bloody hard is that to do.

Started on the centre console cover last night - removed grey tweed.

Got some Evo-Stick - thinned it down a bit - painted leatherette and armrest pad - waited 15 mins - stuck it on - adjusted - adjusted some more, got a crease in the corners so adjusted some more, crease in the other corner - adjusted some more - other corner then pulled away and creased - now Im left with a cover which is all crappy round the edges - think Im gonna pay someone to do it.

Best quote Ive had so far is £300 for the door cards, and console tweed.

Zcentre do the kit for £200. I am still unsure on what to do whether I go for replacing of tweed or buying the kit.

Did you try to recover the tweed or remove??

I think having my mum as a professional sewing machnist tells me which one will be better though

Cheers bud, Ive dropped him an email.

Dave, I removed the tweed. Top of the cover looks fine but corners look bodged :(

unfortunatly most of the DIY jobs ive seen look like this, deffo best to get a professional in, its a pretty skilled job.

I found you can get a good result but it takes huge amounts of time. If you get a good adhesive and apply it, leave it 15min to tack then stretch it with all your strength into shape, if you pull hard enough you can get the creases to stretch out. Only problem is you have to hold it in position for at least 20min to stop it from moving back and creasing again.

I also found you can only do a few centimetres at a time if you want it to go completely crease free. It took me 2 days to get about 1/2 of the interior done, then AndyZ sold me complete interior for just over £100, so my work kind of became redundant.
