how much for a fuel filter??

went to my local spares shop to see how much a fuel filter would be £11.43 is this about right

i got an oil filter from them last year and it was proper japanese filter they seem ok i just thought £11.43 was quite cheap

    thats about the same i paid from Robert Page in sunderland. make sure you release the fuel pressure first cos i didnt and when i disconnected the fuel line from it i covered next doors house in optimax! be careful!

    Change the fuel filter in the morning before starting the engine, as the pressure will ebb away over night.

    Undo the fuel cap to release pressure.

     

    The pressure in the fuel system will not be affected by releasing the vacuum in the petrol tank.
