Being Black I cant understand how any child would feel alienated by a nursery rhyme about a black sheep being asked about his wool consignment. This foolishnes has to stop. And furthermore we all know Humpty Dumpty was pushed so what should be changed are the circumstances leading to his demise.

the thing that these PC nobs dont realise is that they are INCREASING racial tension and ALIENATING black people with this sort of nonsense. theyre the ones DISCRIMINATING between black people by saying there IS a difference when in fact all people no matter what colour are the SAME. a black sheep is a black sheep end of story (apart from asking it if its got any wool etc.)

 

Ok - renaming gollywogs in the Noddy story is fair enough but this is way way way past the line of common sense. way past. :(

FFS, when I was a kid, I don't remember being upset by the Humpty Dumpty story, neither did I think they were singing about coloured people when rhyming off Baa Baa Black Sheep.
