If it goes for near what it's at it's a bargain - I'm sure you could buy it, have a laugh on it for six months and sell if for £1400 odd in MCN later in the year.

 

I guess the price will go up near when it finishes.

Reading about 2 strokes has got me thinking about one of these again, had one many many years ago and have some brilliant memories, might have a look round see whats available, something that I can rebuild and bring back to its origional glory, white with blue stripes just like my old one.

I have in my garage a totally original RD350LC2 (the first YPVS model). Only 9000 miles on the clock as well!. I'm guessing it must be worth a few quid now. It was one of my stepdads bikes which I took when he died a couple of years ago. He also had a totally original RD350 earlier type like the piccy above - that needed work though.

A good origional LCII is going up in value but I still prefer the origional LC, I think its the memories from years gone by on one that tempt me. I have decided tonight I am going to look for one, nice and origional that needs work so I can strip it and rebuild it just like it was when it left the factory.

Is that an RD 250 or 350? I think i need glasses or another drink.

I think the side pannel says '350' but the single front disc brake means it's a 250.

Thats just a picture I got off ebay and its a 250, I cant read what the panel says even with my glasses on.

I thought it was may M8 had one when we were 17. They were the days when you could kill yourself on a 250 with L plates on....... :rolleyes:
