My daily drive is kicking up a couple of faults, just wondering if anyone could shed some light before I take it to the dealer...

52 C class kompressor - showing ESP and BAS fault.

Brakes still working (and to be honest feels fully assisted too) and the ESP still kicks in every 2 secs in this bloody snow! Had a look at google, and it points towards a faulty brake switch - is this correct?

Cheers

Ur pads aren't low are they ?

to be honest I haven't looked as I didn't get in till 5am this morning (went to see the Calzaghe fight - brilliant!! :hyper: :hyper: ) but that should just put the pad warning light on...

I'd imagine PaulC is the man to ask as he works at Mercs.

theres a few common faults that put this on. 9/10 its just the stop lamp switch that causes it.

could be a few other faults too. stop lamp swich is only about £8 tho so prob worth trying that 1st. may need a reset on the diagnostic tool tho :(
