I think the M1 is cursed, I travel daily to work on the M1 betwween Junction's 38 and 34, In the last 2 weeks there has been 2 suicides off the same bridge(Body bits were being found 5 miles up the road. And 2 Lorries have smashed through the central reservation just 3 miles apart.  :(

It really does PISS me off when people that want to commit suicide have to involve innocent people.

It happened to a very good friend of mine that is a Lorry driver. He was driving fully loaded doing 60mph and a Micra travelling at 80mph swerved at the last min and hit him head on.

It took two hours to cut him out and my mate is still shook up over it 5 years on. After the Police investigation they found out the reason why this numb nuts done this was because he though he had cancer.

If people want to take their own life then **** off and do it but why try and take innocent people with them?

One more suicide and the plod will put speed cameras on the M1.

Seriously - that's why there are speed traps on the M4 in Wiltshire (according to Jezza Clarkson). Apparently he reckons that once the road death toll reaches a certain level it justifies camera placements, however it doesn't matter how the deaths occur. So a few losers leaping off bridges still count as road deaths.......

Then again, it could all be b0ll0x :x:

Richard :wack:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

My question is do these unfortunates know that you use the road,

could this be a side effect of actually seeing you travelling

they just couldnt take it any more

seeing you every day was too much for the poor unfortunate souls

  :smash:

J34 south to J27 is just as bad. I have delieries twice a day from Sheffield.the same driver does the run twice in a day. Never a week passes without deaths, jams, diversions etc

Poor guy is always late at least once every week.

I dont think its boll0cks rich. I heard the same thing from a copper,

the railways are the same. the jumpers and walkers are put in the same book as worksite fatalities and our safety reg's go up each year making it almost impossible to do our jobs.
