Question?

I you had a few thousand pounds to spend on your engine and suspension and brakes how would you spend it?

This is my dilemma!

I am in the process of uprating the appearance of my 300zx lwb j-spec to the tune of around 12k and I find I have a tad left over.

It has the usual after market exhaust, air filter and jwt chip but the problem is a I know what I like the look but I am befuzzled as what to do with the rest.

please help me with your ideas.

Best bet IMO would be skyline R33/R34 GTR Brakes, new shocks / springs, uprated anti-roll bars and change all the bushes. It'll make it feel like a different car.

If you have cash left over go for a boost controller, if not then just fit boost jets and get the boost up to ~14psi. A better chip wouldn't go amiss either but JWT is OK.

and if you still have it left over you can fix up my car :x:

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

Deffo brakes upgrade first , then suspension , depending on how much u wanna spend , Tein coilovers or similar and as John said Skyline brakes , personally id recommend the R34 ones as they come with the shim where as the R33 dont and the squeal can be a killer!!

You could go with this if you save up a little bit more cash.

(would be worth it IMHO)

I am already having wide rear arches, viper fronts bespoke front, 19" alloys, new ICE and a tub rear all re-sprayed in viper blue.

I just have a few quid left over to spend on the engine and suspension where would you spend it?
