How do you know they included all Taxes?????

It can take upto 6 months, so i seriously doubt its including IMPORT tax!!

If you're lucky they don't check it and you get no tax, other times you get stung and have handling charges from UPS or whoever.

Still a bargain compared to UK prices either way.

I have found that sending by land (sea) rather than air is better. This means the goods are usually delivered by Royal Mail instead of UPS etc and they are considerably less efficient at collecting the import duties.

I think that we should arrange some more group buys from the states and save everybody money.

Its did include handling charges, as my mate who works for UPS explained what charges I was paying.

I'm surprised. Jimmer bought some followers from the States and paid for Airmail. Two weeks went by and I contacted the seller for tracking info. It was purchased on the 3rd Feb and flew out of O'hare airport, Chicago the same day. It arrived at the Royal Mail, Patchway on the 5th of Feb where we collected after paymenton of Import Taxes on the 21st of Feb. The Royal Mail had not bothered to tell us and they told me that if it was not claimed within 21 days, they would return it to the sender. I asked why they had not informed us about it turning up and they said that Customs & excise should do that, which of course they don't. At the Royal Mail, Patchway they sounded as tho' they don't give a f**k, and probably don't send things back at all, but it somehow dissappears under the pretence of being sent back. A right load of w*****s.

well you done very well there indeed mate, however it is somewhat unusual as charges are a seperate transaction payable to the delivery company, so you should have some paperwork with that on. It looks to me like you have somehow got through the system as had you paid the fees for value of the goods, without handling fees it is around £75 alone.

Bargains can be had from importing from the US but bear in mind IF doing it all legit so yer covered in everyway, (insurance/fees) the savings drop dramatically!

again well done :)

No i had to pay taxes extra on delivery and also a handling charge to the delivery company who paid my taxes on my behalf.

Its alright saving a few quid by importing stuff but what happens when or if it goes wrong??

Thats why i would rather pay a little extra and go to companies and traders on here and buy a product which if it goes wrong it will get replaced or refunded!!!

Just my opinion
