I know a few guys here have broke their car for parts, what i want to know is,,,,,

 

 

is it really worth it?

im at a loss with mine now, and cant see how i can afford to get it fixed, so i'm considedring at the moment to splitting it for parts.

 

if anyone could let me know how much they got and how long it took, ill appreciate you may want to reply by pm

 

 

just a thought right now as totally totally fed up.

i love this car, but its bringing me no good luck at all

im sure you have it mentioned many times but couldn't see

whatever you get for it ain't gonna pay you back, and with it being sick at the mo' breaking it would at the moment deffo be the best option

how long? that depends on who wants what when m8:(

 

and to be the first ghoul, i would deffo be interested in the interior if its the same, and you do decide to go that way, as i said i DO hope you don't m8

however much i'd like the interior i wouldn't like to gain for someone elses

unless it has lots of aftermarket parts, i wouldnt bother breaking it, i was at a loss with mine the other week, and i was ready to throw in the towel

 

but i went and washed polished and vaccumed and relised how much i actually love my car

For what it's worth, get it to Ryan at Z-tech so he can give it the once over and see what's wrong with it.

 

It may not cost you as much to put right as you think.

If it helps T-Pot I can give you a number of a company that imports jap engines and they have 300zx Z32 engines going for £1K inc gearbox and turbos...

Mart, what are the current problems.

 

Turbo's need replacing? - what are the symptons?

Engine running rough ?

Greg, i know you have offered mate, and i saw the post by ryan also, not had chance to speak to him on msn, but the problem also mate, is i cant get the car to him as it is, and even if i could,i still have to find the cash to repair it mate.

 

it's not being ungrateful, quite the opposite, its simple fact i have no money at hand now to repair it.

and i cant think of a way to justify keeping the car on my drive for the 4 or 5 months it would take me to be able to afford it.

 

Ryans offer was and still is an amazing one fella, but all it would do, is tell me exactly how much money i need to find, which right now, wont get it running

t pot , i really hope you dont have to break it bud , cant be an easy disicion to make as otheres have said , i almost broke mine last year when my engine blew up after i just drove it from having 3k spent on new tubs etc etc etc wanted to throw the towel in , ,then after i calmed down took about 3 weeks i sourced an engine , many thanks to splatt at a great price, , and the rest is history , i do no a mechanic who would collect car and fix it for you when your ready to bud , may even help you source an engine, drop us a pm if you need help bud i give a call , all the best,, paul!

I feel for you if you have to break the car ... Surely you can do something about it ... I know how I would feel and it would be sooo gutting ..
