Not sure if any of you remember, I have managed to get a set of split rims from an RX-7 we have here at work. Now I took some photos of them with my phone but the wheels were absolutely filthy and the photos looked dreadful.....

Well, I've got them home now and I've cleaned them up. Other than some minor curbing damage, I am really starting to like them. Kinda considering getting them refurbed and fitting them to the Zed and selling my Rays wheels.

Found some photos. The wheels being Siena Generation 2.

I do like the wheels though.. just want to see them on a Z

They look really nice but if they're off an RX7 surely the PCD and/or offset will be wrong?

Same PCD and offset is near identical AFAIK. Also, the space savers I fitted back on the RX-7 were from a Skyline, a Lexus and 2 GTO space savers! lol

Don't need to. Gonna fit two to mine at the weekend....lol Just to see what they look like. ;)

From what I can ascertain, Siena are actually a division of Yokohama.

Like those and will look good on your Z!! Gonna be a pig to clean though...

My current ones are bad anyway (similar design), but the car doesn't go out in the rain/dirt, so they aren't bad to clean.

same fitment as regards pcd and offset, however a difference of 6.5mm in centre bore with the RX7 being smaller..

cheers

I can just get 4 small spigots machined can't I? Will see how they fit anyway.

some wheel suppliers actually supply centre bore rings for this problem, so yer could just pick these up, sure google will show yer the way bud :)

.5mm ones though? Will have a look. If you look at the rim, there is a large nut that is bolted through the other side as a two peice fitment, quite a neat design actually.

Just found some more info on them. They are a highly regarded rim over in the states from what I can make out. Some $3800 worth. Made by a company called Advan which are part of Yokohama.

Most decent tyre or wheel companies will supply the right gauge rings for a mininmal price or as Si said he could have some machined but I am sure its aproblem that could easily be over come
