Are 3 ton (each) axle stands sufficient for the Zed's weight or do I need to get even more heavy duty ones ?

Thanks

ohhh !

I have no intention of dying yet ! So do you think to be on the safe side I go for a 4 tone each stand ?

Of equal importance to the overall weight capacity is the inherent stability of the car when its up on the stands.

No good having 4 ton stands if they wobble etc.

Ok, I know this may be an overkill but couldn't resist them, I bought some Sealey Low Axle Stands and they are 7.5 tons each !

I haven't lost the plot yet but thought what the heck, I can also use them on my E Class and Transam.

Thank you all for being patient with me ! I am aware that I can be annoying at times !

And that could even take the whole weight...

Does that mean we could jack it up and turn it around while balancing to fit other parts.

7.5 tons?!? you planning on doing commercial vehicles on your drive???

Strewth! Surely you could do all three cars at once on those? I think mine are only 3 tons from memory, but like you I was a bit nervous about getting under the car the first time I did it so can understand where you're coming from.

In not saying im a control threke but jack mine up onto ramps.
