How to stop MSN auto starting / signing in?

Like it says.... how can I stop MSN Messenger opening and signing in when I start up my computer?

    tools/options preferences, first box untick run windows messenger when windows starts/reboot

    if its version 7.5 then its under the general setting in tools /option/general
